When: Friday, Feb 26th, 2010
Departure/Arrival Time: We'll meet at the church @ 3:30 PM and then head up to Cascade Mountain as a group. We'll arrive back at the church at ~midnight.
Who: If you are in middle school or high school you can attend without an adult chaperone. You may also invite a friend to attend
Cost: Free!!
What to bring:
- A filled out church permission form (available on the web site or at the church lobby bulletin board)
- A fillled out minor liability release form from Cascade Mtn (online or hard copy at the church lobby bulletin board)
- Appropriate warm clothing. Dress in layers; it gets cold when the sun goes down. That means hats, gloves, warm socks, layered pants, etc.
- Ski and snowboard rentals are provided at the mountain, but if you have your own gear, bring it.
- We will be building our own sandwiches for the trip up. If you have special dietary concerns, bring a bag lunch
- You'll want to bring some spending money for concessions, and we usually make a McDonald's stop on the way home.

The 2009-2012 ministry plan was approved on June 19 and is available at the Administrative Council page. There are 9 goals in 6 focus areas that were created based on feedback from the congregation, and the different chuch committees are:
|
Hospitality |
- To increase the number of non members and members that are aware of Edgerton UMC, it’s ministries, and its activities.
- To continue to make the church properties available to the community and reach an even wider audience
|
|
Worship |
- To increase the amount and variety of interactive moments during worship.
|
|
Faith Development |
- To create and sustain multiple groups for the sharing and education of faith ideas
|
|
Mission and Service |
- To continue to support the community and congregation through local mission activities
- To continue to support the global community through mission activity and increase our impact to those outside of our local reach
|
|
Generosity |
- To increase the ways in which people can give, donate, or sacrifice to help the church
|
|
Sustainability |
- Reduce the amount of consumption that occurs within the church
- Effectively maintain the church’s most important assets to assure their long-term usability without financial burden to the other activities of the church
