What: Six Flags America’s Fright Fest (Halloween themed amusement park) Where: Leaving and returning from Edgerton United Methodist Church – destination: Six Flags Ill in Gurnee, Ill When: Oct 30, 2009. Leave at 3PM from church and returning to church at 1:30AM Cost: Free to any church youth (and guest if they choose to bring one) if they contact Scott Converse on or before 10/29, after that date they may need to pay for the $35 park admission ticket. Who to contact: Scott Converse; sconverse@bus.wisc.edu or 884-7749 Additional Details: · Each youth (including guests) will need to fill out a permission/waiver form that includes a parent or guardian signature. Permission forms are available on the church web site at http://www.edgertonunitedmethodist.org/policies-and-forms or by picking one up in the church lobby. · We are in need of chaperones to drive and attend the event. If you are over 21, have a valid drivers license and are willing to fill out a chaperone waiver form at http://www.edgertonunitedmethodist.org/policies-and-forms , we would love to have you come with us. Contact Scott Converse if interested. · Food at the amusement park is EXTREMELY expensive (slice of pizza and a soda - $13, cup of ice cream $7) and not included with the ticket we’ll be providing them. We will be making sandwiches prior to leaving, but you may want to send your youth with a little more spending money than normal. · We expect to return to the church at 1:30am. However depending on traffic conditions this time is flexible. You may want to have your youth call during the return trip to give you a firmer time of arrival if you plan on picking them up at the church. There will be dozens of cell phones around even if your youth doesn't have one. · Additional cell numbers for emergency contact during the trip will be distributed prior to our departure.
